Op 16 december gaat Art For All naar Matchombé in Rataplan.

‘Matchombe’ is een dansvoorstelling waarin Michel Kiyombo terugblikt op zijn eigen jeugd in Congo, zijn thuiskomen in België en ondertussen het vaderschap ontdekt. Op het podium vertelt hij het verhaal van zijn geboorte en hoe hij als klein, kwetsbaar wezen op aarde kwam. Door middel van dans groeit hij uit tot de man die hij vandaag is. Maar wat rest er nog van de broosheid in hem? Nu is hij zelf vader maar wat met zijn kwetsbaarheid?

We spreken met de groep af aan Globe Aroma om 18u.

On 16 December, Art For All goes to see Matchombé in Rataplan.

Matchombe’ is a dance performance in which Michel Kiyombo looks back on his own youth in Congo, his homecoming in Belgium and in the meantime discovers fatherhood. On stage, he tells the story of his birth and how he came to earth as a small, vulnerable creature. Through dance, he grows into the man he is today. But what is left of the fragility in him? Now he is a father, but what about his vulnerability?

We meet up with the group at Globe Aroma at 6 pm.
