Op 10 oktober gaat Art For All naar El Futuro (Luis López Carrasco).
Een groep jongeren danst en drinkt alsof hun leven er van af hangt in een huis in Spanje na de overwinning van de socialistische partij in 1982. Luide Spaanse newwavemuziek vult de kamers en er zijn alleen flarden van gesprekken te horen. De sfeer is feestelijk en vrolijk en de feestvierders lijken niet in het minst bezig met de precaire sociale, politieke en economische toestand waarin het land verkeert.
Luis López Carrasco (1981, Spanje) is filmmaker, schrijver en beeldend kunstenaar. In 2008 richtte hij samen met Javier Fernández Vázquez en Natalia Marín Sancho het collectief Los Hijos op, een experimenteel film- en documentairecollectief. In 2013 regisseerde López Carrasco de eerste speelfilm van het collectief: El futuro. Zijn werk was te zien op heel wat internationale filmfestivals.

On October 10, Art For All goes to El Futuro (Luis López Carrasco).
A group of young people dance and drink like there’s no tomorrow in a house in Spain following the socialist victory of 1982. Loud Spanish New Wave fills the rooms and only fragments of conversations are to be heard. The atmosphere is festive and cheerful and the precarious social, political and economic state the country is in, seems far away.
Luis López Carrasco (1981, Spain) is a filmmaker, writer and visual artist. In 2008, he founded the collective Los Hijos, an experimental cinema and documentary collective, together with Javier Fernández Vázquez and Natalia Marín Sancho. In 2013, López Carrasco directed El futuro, the first feature film. His work has been shown in numerous international film festivals.
