Globe Aroma beschikt van artistiek werkplekken voor de kunstenaars uit onze gemeenschap om hen de ideale werkomstandigheden aan te bieden. We hebben een open gemeenschappelijke benedenverdieping ruimte, een repetitielokaal, een vergaderruimte en een internetruimte. Op de eerste verdieping zijn er de atelierruimtes voor beeldende, textiel- en digitale kunstenaars.

Donderdag zijn de ruimtes van Globe Aroma exclusief voorbehouden aan vrouwen en non binaire personen.

OPEN OPROEP

Om de drie maanden lanceren we een oproep voor kunstenaars uit onze gemeenschap die openstaat voor open voor alle disciplines. Het gaat om het gebruik van de repetitielokaal en de atelierruimte op de eerste verdieping waar iedereen in zijn eigen ruimte en in autonomie kan creëren.

  • Repetitielokaal:

Zoals jullie al weten, zijn we volop bezig met het verbouwen van onze repetitiezaal. Ondertussen is de zaal gestript en wachten we nu op Fix om de werkzaamheden te starten. We verwachten dat we jullie in januari terug kunnen verwelkomen in een spiksplinternieuwe repetitiezaal.

Om deze ‘stille’ periode te overbruggen hebben we besloten om onze vergaderzaal om te vormen tot een tijdelijke repetitieplek. Als je akoestisch (of met koptelefoon) wil komen repeteren, kan je via de link hieronder je aanvraag indienen. Je kan ook een afspraak maken met mij om dat samen te doen hier op globe aroma als je dat liever hebt.

Hou er wel rekening mee dat er een aantal beperkingen zijn.
De vergaderzaal is veel kleiner (dans is dus helaas niet mogelik) en de zaal grenst aan de computerruimte, keuken en de coworkingspace:

o   Er kan dus enkel akoestisch gerepeteerd worden (om het volume te beperken), er worden wel koptelefoons voorzien als je dat graag hebt.

o   Er kan helaas geen drum opgesteld worden.

o   Omgekeerd kan het ook zijn dat je andere geluiden hoort die voortvloeien uit activiteiten (koken, workshops, vergaderingen,…) in die andere ruimtes tijdens je repetitiemoment.

o   Er zullen minder tijdssloten beschikbaar zijn en deze kunnen van week tot week veranderen in functie van het gebruik van de andere ruimtes. Het is een beetje een experiment en we hopen dat iedereen zich flexibel opstelt.

We hebben net onze nieuwe open oproep voor kunstenaars gelanceerd. Om de ruimte te organiseren en iedereen de kans te geven om te creëren, willen we graag dat u ons wat informatie stuurt via deze link.

De uiterste datum voor toezending van deze informaties is 10 oktober 2022.

Globe Aroma is reopening its studios to the artists of our community with a new space to provide artists with the ideal working conditions. We now have an open-plan downstairs common work space as well as a rehearsal room, a meeting room and an internet space. On the first floor, there are workshops dedicated to visual, textile and digital artists.

Every Thursday, Globe Aroma will exclusively host Espace Fxmme and female and non-binary artists.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Every 3 months we launch a call for artists from our community and open to all disciplines. It concerns the rehearsal space and the workshop space on the first floor where everyone can create in their own space and independently. In order to organise the space and give everyone the opportunity to create, we would like you to send us some information. Based on this information, we will be able to define the use of these spaces to interested artists.

  • Rehearsal spaceAs you already know, we are in the midst of remodeling our rehearsal hall. Meanwhile, the hall has been gutted and we are now waiting for Fix to start the work. We expect to welcome you back in January in a brand new rehearsal hall.To bridge this “quiet” period, we have decided to turn our meeting room into a temporary rehearsal space. If you would like to come and rehearse acoustically (or with headphones), you can submit your request via the link below. You can also make an appointment with me to do that together here on globe aroma if you prefer.

    Just keep in mind that there are some limitations.
    The meeting room is much smaller (so dancing is unfortunately not possible) and the room is adjacent to the computer room, kitchen and coworking space:

    o So there can only be rehearsed acoustically (to limit volume), headphones will be provided if you like.

    o Unfortunately, no drums can be set up.

    o Conversely, you may also hear other sounds resulting from activities (cooking, workshops, meetings,…) in those other rooms during your rehearsal time.

    o There will be fewer time slots available and these may change from week to week depending on the use of the other rooms. It is a bit of an experiment and we hope everyone will be flexible.
