Muziekresidentie Sergio Belo Fanck in Destelheide

We are joining forces with Destelheide to set up a residency for a musical project from Globe Aroma’s network.

Sergio Belo Fanck will lay the foundations of his first single and debut EP between 22 May and 6 June. To do so, he will collaborate with Pedro ‘Putcho’ Diaz, who himself also has musical roots in the Globe Aroma network and is now active at CUBE in Sint-Gillis.

Sergio himself describes his musical journey by saying:
“It started for me 11 years ago with the discovery of the Kuduro genre in Angola. I only discovered playing the piano for the first time in 2018, after which I immediately started taking lessons hyperactively, causing me to learn at an insane pace.
Soon after, I decided to give private piano lessons myself (through superprof.be) and created my first songs.
In 2019, I debuted with my own compositions in the successful show Landscape Orchestra at the Kaaistudio’s, which later also played at Nona in Mechelen and the Nouveau Théatre de Montreuille in Paris. Later, I participated in a concert by Gueladio Ba at Gc De Markten as part of a project with children. Since September 2020, I have been working with CUBE on a musical street performance for which I plan to record songs for my first EP.”

Besides his activities as a musician, Sergio is also active as a dancer and performer, among others in a project with Ahilan Ratnamohan, Oumar Diallo, Mahy Nambiar, Alimu Mahammed, Issouf Ilboudo, Lia Conceicao.
