House for Collective Imagination
SHSHSHSHARING + WHAT’S A DOOR (as part of House for Collective Imagination).
On Thursday, the 14th of March, we organized a day of public workshops on accessibility and shared spaces with the community, Terra Nova students and team, the architectural team (Chloé & John, New South), WA team (Heleen & Jasmien), and enthusiastic citizens.
The morning was dedicated to the second episode of “What’s a door?”. This session was enriched by the experience of Terra Nova students and their insights into the ideas that emerged from the first workshop in December, primarily involving the perspectives of ART FOR ALL participants and cultural actors.
After enjoying a delicious soup prepared by Marit, Cléa, and Ana, we initiated a reflection on our shared spaces, titled “SHSHSHARING”. This reflection was conducted in small groups and organized by theme, utilizing text excerpts and images from our workshop visits in February. Through collage and analysis, each group derived solutions and identified questions for future steps.
These two workshops are part of House for Collective Imagination, a collaborative endeavor aimed at fostering reflections to broaden our imagination and craft new narratives for our space.
