On april 6, Art For All goes to Rage.

Inspired by real facts, Emilienne Flagothier rewrites these daily stories of violence against women. Feeding her “Rage” to face the trivialization. The artist experiments by creating a space where the relationships are reversed. She takes back a form of power by an outburst of violence on the one who attacks her. The theater becomes the political place of a transforming power of action: in the reconstitution of the scenes, the silent one of yesterday becomes the offensive woman. In turn, she is the Amazon, the rioter, the resistance fighter, the rebel, fighting against male domination and ordinary sexism. In order to reconcile, do we have to confront? It is perhaps one of the essential questions that Rage asks. It is perhaps the whole meaning of Emilienne Flagothier’s artistic gesture: to embody the emergence of a “fourth wave” feminism where the fighting woman confronts in a frontal way all the violence that is done to her.

We meet up with the group at Globe Aroma at 19h.
