Salomé Grdzelischvili works with natural and dyed wool. From this organic, pure and natural fabric, she can make almost anything textile-related: rugs, decorations, jewellery. She learned to master the technique of felting and weaving rugs and carpets in her native Georgia. Her practice gives life to figurative textile creations – often based on iconographic images from art history – but also abstract ones. She organises workshops for adults and children around the practice of felting.
