Hussein Rassim

The music ensemble Nawaris performs traditional, Iraqi music as well as the band members’ own compositions. The oud or oriental lute, soprano saxophone, flute, cello and sometimes vocals meet, play together, engage in conversation and leave a nice space for improvisation. Hussein released his first album “migration” in 2018. Later that year, the song “Raksat Cello” also appeared on the Globe Aroma compilation “Se Lal Bum.
