Op 23 mei gaat Art For All naar است (Is) (Parnia Shams – Kunstenfestivaldesarts).
Een meisjesschool, meerdere schrijftafels, een schoolbord. Dat is de setting van de voorstelling van Parnia Shams. We volgen Mahoor, een 16-jarig meisje halfweg het semester is verhuisd naar Teheran. Aangekomen in deze nieuwe school sluit ze een diepe en intieme vriendschap met de beste leerlinge van de klas. Ze gaan een relatie aan die de aandacht trekt van andere leerlingen en van het schoolbestuur. Om dit project te creëren werkte Shams met 7 meisjes die recent zijn afgestudeerd aan de middelbare school.
We spreken met de groep af aan Globe Aroma om 19u30.

An all-girls classroom, several desks, a blackboard. Mahoor, a 16-year-old girl who just moved to Tehran in the middle of the semester, enters this new school and forms a deep and intimate friendship with the best student of the class. They form a relationship that begins to attract a lot of attention from other students and the school board. To create this project, Parnia Shams worked with 7 girls recently out of high school.
We meet up with the group at Globe Aroma at 7:30pm.
