DAGPROGRAMMA IN GLOBE AROMA

Om 15u organiseert Salomé Grdzelischvili (een Georgische kunstenares) een workshop vilten voor kinderen (vanaf 6 jaar). De workshop gaat door in het Russisch en zal vertaald worden naar het Oekraïens, Frans en Engels.

15:00 : Майстерня з фетру для дітей із Саломе Грдзелішвілі (від 6 років).  Семінар проходитиме російською мовою та буде перекладений французькою та англійською мовами.  Для участі у  цьому семінарі ми спеціально хочемо задіяти дітей з України (але, звичайно, інші діти також запрошуються).”

Voor deze workshop willen specifiek een oproep lanceren naar kinderen uit Oekraïne (maar uiteraard zijn ook andere kinderen welkom).

AVONDPROGRAMMA

De artistieke scène in Brussel is verbonden met die in conflictgebieden door de aanwezigheid van kunstenaars uit die gebieden in de Brusselse artistieke en culturele structuren. 

We lanceerden dit voorjaar een open oproep om antwoorden te vinden voor de volgende vragen: hoe kunnen wij (Brussel, Vlaanderen, België, Europa) de kunstproductie in conflictgebieden ondersteunen? En tot op welk niveau is kunstproductie uit deze plekken aanwezig in de Europese of Brusselse kunstscene? Hoe kan deze diversiteit aan praktijken een plaats krijgen in de Brusselse artistieke (sociaal geëngageerde) structuren?

Tijdens dit hybride avondevenement vanaf 20u connecteren we met kunstenaars en initiatieven: Hulm theatergroep uit Idlib in Syrië, Thiyazan Alalawy, een graffiti kunstenaar uit Jemen, MENA Art Gallery via Syria Untold, Dima Nashawi uit Lebanon, Hisham Naddaf, Khalid Jarrar, een digitale kunstenaar uit Palestina zullen online bij ons zijn. In Globe Aroma zullen we delen van hun oeuvre streamen en tonen aan het publiek, gevolgd door een discussie tussen het publiek en de kunstenaars. At 3pm, Salomé Grdzelischvili (georgian artist) will organize a felting workshop for children (ages 6 and up). The workshop will be held in Russian and will be translated into Ukrainian, French and English. For this workshop, we want to specifically launch a call for children from Ukraine (but of course other children are also welcome). Between 6pm and 8pm is the time when you can come and enjoy food prepared by cooks from our community (at democratic prices). Today Erekle Mgeladze is cooking.

EVENING PROGRAM IN GLOBE AROMA

The artistic scene in Brussels is connected to the ones in zones of crisis through the presence of artists from those zones in Brussels’ artistic and cultural structures. We launched an open call to seek some insights to the following questions: How can we (Brussels, Flanders, Belgium, Europe) support art production in hostile zones? And to what level art production from hostile zones is present in the European or Brussels art scene? How can this diversity of practices be accommodated in Brussels’ artistic (socially engaged) structures?

The hybrid evening event in which we connect with artists and initiatives starts from 8pm. Hulm theatre group from Idlib in Syria, Thiyazan Alalawy, a graffiti artist from Yemen, MENA Art Gallery from Syria Untold, Dima Nashawi from Lebanon, Hisham Naddaf, Khalid Jarrar, a digital artist from Palestine are going to be with us online. At Globe Aroma, we will stream and show parts of their works with the public, and that will be followed by a discussion among the public and the artists.
