Colombian artist based in Brussels, Tatiana Zubieta (1985, Bogota), is a multidisciplinary artist exploring physical materials and their transformation through sculpture, video, photography, installation, and collage.

Tatiana Zubieta uses industrial equipment (metal, motors, or wires) as the basis for her work, with the core of her artistic practice being the transformation of recycled and/or found materials, as opposed to the extraction and exploitation of new materials.

Currently working under the name 7Element, she moves between fields related to quantum physics and perception theories. Triggered by the existence of parallel universes, she evokes elements and dynamics that exist only in realms beyond our daily experience.

To reveal them, she uses the movement and dynamism of her kinetic sculptures and installations, activated by motors or physical elements such as air.
