Hussein Shamia x Rihla @ Wanderworks / PAKT

“Silent Witness” series by Hussein Shamia will be on view on 14th November in Antwerp, in the framework of RIHLA. RIHLA is an artistic project that seeks to explore and analyze the experiences of exile and complex identities, compiled by Ahmed Saleh and produced by Passaporta.

From 3 PM, the exhibition by Hussein Shamia will be on view at Wanderworks, PAKT rooftops. In the evening, people will be able to enjoy readings by writers Anas Younes (Syria) and Wadah Abu Jame (Palestine), and a performance by Palestinian musician Husein Abu Shammala. Moderator Maisa Mansour will lead a conversation with the artists. Simultaneous English translation will be provided by Ghassan Bardiwil.
