After tea, we dance!

Wednesday is for dancing.

A few years ago, together with young people we met in reception and asylum centres, we launched something small and simple: a Wednesday dance afternoon, born somewhere between soft drinks, chips music, and new encounters. That seed grew into Art For You(th): a weekly journey where young people explored artists, art spaces and practices, created their own work, and built a community.

On the first Wednesday of December, we return to where it all began. The dance floor is open to everyone: young people, older people, former participants, new faces, artists, partners, neighbours… Come dance, celebrate, reconnect and meet.

Host and dj will kick off the party and keep the vibes high. Alongside the music, we’ll present a selection of photos and works created throughout Art For You(th): a glimpse of what has been made, shared and passed on along the way.

A festive and informal afternoon to look back, celebrate, and imagine what comes next.
