On 6 December Art For All goes to Salon Chaabi.

An evening of music with B’net Chaabi, in the form of a guelssa in a Moroccan lounge atmosphere!

We invite you to a very special event. For one evening, the Salle Agénor will be transformed into a Moroccan salon, welcoming you in a festive family atmosphere.

The public will be able to sit back and enjoy the concert given by the B’net Chaabi and the participants in the Guelssa Chaabiya workshop.

B’net Chaabi – Following in the footsteps of the ghanayats, the female singers who since the beginning of the last century have developed an urban vocal and musical art specific to the cities of northern Morocco, the B’net Chaabi are driven by a desire to perpetuate in Belgium this musical tradition inherited from the ancients. Accompanied by a keyboard and percussion instruments, they will share with you their passion for these melodies and transmit the spellbinding energy of these rhythms passed down from generation to generation to reach us!
