Since 2015 and the hilarious duo Happy Hour, Mauro Paccagnella and Alessandro Bernardeschi, along with their partners of Wooshing Machine, have fashioned a trilogy of artistic, cordial and even political confluences. Against a backdrop of bodies and what they remember: gestures, struggles, surges, wounds. El Pueblo Unido Jamás Séra Vencido and Closing Party (arrivederci e grazie) have dug these furrows. Ma l’amor mio non muore is the epilogue to this great movement.

‘One table, three people, Heart of Glass by Blondie.’ With a single line, Alessandro Bernardeschi’s notes sketch out the beginnings of a set. Where the performers will throw flowers at each other, and maybe a brick or two. Where the rigour of the stage work will be sprinkled with humour and friendship, pain and stubbornness, not forgetting the abundant musical dramaturgy spicing it all up: elegant, classical, electronic, popular, swaying.

More than performers, Alessandro Bernardeschi, Mauro Paccagnella and Carlotta Sagna bring to the stage the full density of their stories. A euphoric cocktail that mixes intimacy and fragility with tenacity.
