AFA goes to: Lydia Cauwels – architectural and lighting installation HORSLESMURS – FACE B
FACE B invites you to experience something unique, timeless, and @HORSLESMURS_ in the exceptional urban setting of the Wiels marsh. Lydia Cauwels’s architectural and lighting installations will come to life in a temporary way starting May 22. In this final installment, Lydia shares what deeply nourishes her approach: her fascination with works in public space. She tells us about an urban environment that she doesn’t subjugate, but rather integrates, diverts and illuminates in a different way.
Her installation will be inhabited by a sound creation that explores the tensions between chosen solitude and imposed collectivity. A work that listens as much as it listens to itself
