In the framework of her broader project Dumpling Tales, which began in December 2023 and presented at Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2024, artist Mirra Markhaeva has spent hours talking to people about hospitality, customs around food, sharing practices, community and identity, culture, and the politics of welcoming, all of which converge into one big melting pot.

All the material—oral, visual, and written—collected during collective workshops, individual conversations, and performative dinners was used in the creation of a large mural, collectively painted on a wall in the courtyard of Globe Aroma from July 1 to 7, 2024.
