One thing is to dance and the other is to know where the dance takes us. Between the time, the space, the body and the spirit, the pars and the drum, the voice accompanies us in its universes of dances (traditional ritual and contemporary) we will discover together the poetry of the soul.

Awoulath Alougbin, dancer, singer and choreographer was born in Benin. From an early age, she was immersed in the artistic world. As a Yoruba, she extended her knowledge of traditional dances during her training at the National Ballet of Benin. Through her meeting with the Haitian choreographer Ketly Noël, she discovered the world of contemporary dance. She confirmed her qualities as a dancer and took part in various creations, such as The Leaves which resist the wind by choreographer Koffi Kôkô and Le Sacre du Printemps by Heddy Malem.
