Honig, شمس & de l’Or (Honey, Sun and Gold) is a multilingual creation freely inspired by the novel Sans Famille and the unique journey of Rémi Sarmini, Syrian actor and author. The play will be presented in Brussels, at Espace Magh, on November 14.
Originally written in Syrian Arabic by playwright Yasser Abu Shaqra, the play premiered in 2021 in Tunis thanks to the association Art Veda. Today, it returns in a multilingual version performed by Rémi Sarmini and Mélody Pini, where Arabic and French interact directly on stage, without surtitles.
